💉 Physical Contact: Jonathan is a gentleman so he tends to keep physical contact to a minimum. He'll shake hands with people and perhaps put an arm around a friend but Jonathan is likely to get somewhat flustered about anything more intimate.
💉 Romance: Sure, he's a little old-fashioned about it, however, so Jonathan is more likely to be surprised and get easily flustered about crass or outright offers and comments. He's more likely to be open to flirting and more romantic gestures than sex (no he doesn't know if vampires can fuck or not and he's not sure how he feels about trying to find out) and it'll probably take him a while to realise there's even any interest in him that way. Also please note this mostly applies to games; in memes I play Jonathan a lot more open and dtf because it's a meme who cares.
💉 Combat: Jonathan isn't big on fighting in general and will usually try to find alternatives to combat, but at the end of the day he served as a soldier as well as a medic and he's fought his fair share of terrible things in the streets of London. He can fight fairly well and can take a lot of damage, plus he's hard to kill so fighting is definitely a-ok with me. Vampire attacks and feeding can also be worked out but it's probably best not to try drinking his blood in return unless you also want to be a vampire.
💉 Psychic Abilities: Yes but hit me up to work it out. Jonathan can't really read minds himself but vampires do have some psychic abilities, mostly along the lines of mental control, so it'll be interesting.

💉 Backtagging: Yes! Always loved.
💉 Threadjacking: Sure thing.
💉 Forthwalling: I would prefer not to, Jonathan has enough to deal with after the whole vampire thing, finding out it's all for entertainment would be even worse.

CHARACTER
Name Jonathan E. Reid, MD.
Canon Vampyr
Age 35
Birthright Jewel Red
Dreams made flesh Jonathan would initially be interested in a cure for vampirism but assuming that is not something that can be offered, he would ask then to be able to research his vampirism and have access to their medical facilities and magic in the hopes of working on it himself. Ideally his goal would be to return to London with a cure.
Canon point End game. Jonathan, having stopped the Red Queen from unleashing chaos and death on London, is on his way to seek out the Lady Ashbury who went into hiding after learning of her own part in the Red Queen's awakening. London's safe, more or less, so he finally has a chance to relax.
Canon Powers Wearing a red jewel means that Jonathan's vampiric abilities are significantly enhanced from what he's familiar with and he'll need to relearn how to control himself more to compensate. This would likely present in ways like his senses being overwhelming and too much to bear at times, being able to move further than before with skills like shadow leaping, and his mesmerism could affect those with lighter jewels. Considering how much Jonathan dislikes using his abilities to harm others and what he is, he'd be highly motivated to learn control and be reluctant to use his abilities unless he has to.
Vampire Senses
Jonathan has extremely heightened senses after his rebirth and can focus his attention to block out everything around him and narrow in on the signs and sounds of people around him. He can use this to focus his hearing and eavesdrop on conversations some distance away or use it to focus on particular details like important symbols in a room.
But the biggest use of this ability is that Jonathan can sense the heartbeats of any living creatures around him, allowing him to get an idea of their general direction. Coupled with his training as a doctor, Jonathan has also found he can use this sense to get an idea of the general health and any ailments his patients might be suffering, allowing him to more effectively treat those around him.
Mesmerism
Jonathan can attempt to mesmerise people and force them to submit to his will, allowing him to convince them to invite him inside, reveal secrets, or follow him away from prying eyes... However this skill is dependent on the mental strength of the person he is trying to mesmerise. The more strong willed the person, the less likely it is to work on them.
Shadow jump
Jonathan can teleport short distances, disappearing in a black smoke or shadow-like effect and reappearing close by. He has to be able to see where he is leaping to, however, and there is a limit on the range he can cover in one movement. For example, he could jump to a balcony on a floor a level above him, but if he were trying to ascend several floors he would need to make several jumps, each to a location he can see clearly.
Shadow Veil
Jonathan can blend into the shadows for a time, making him very difficult to sense and allowing him to stealthily approach targets. However it's very draining on him to do this so he can only maintain it for brief periods and he can still be sensed by those with especially heightened senses or preternatural tracking of their own.
Vulnerability - Sunlight
Somewhat true to legends, Jonathan is vulnerable to sunlight and burns when it touches him, however the legends are wrong about it being able to kill him. It hurts a lot and he's severely weakened, and can even be incapacitated by it, but the sun alone cannot kill an Ekon.
Vulnerability - Holy Symbols
Holy symbols in and of themselves don't harm Jonathan - walking into a room that has a crucifix won't bother him in the slightest. It's when they're wielded by someone who has a strong faith in what the symbol represents and it's power to stop him that they present a problem. They do not outright hurt Jonathan, but they can temporarily stun and blind him, making it difficult for him to attack or flee from them.
Vulnerability - Fire
Similar to sunlight, fire causes severe injuries and harm to vampires and recovering from fire induced injuries takes a lot longer than other injuries. However unlike sunlight, fire can kill Jonathan if he is consumed by it, and vampire hunters in London will often burn injured and incapacitated vampires in order to ensure they are dead.
Vulnerability - Invite Only
Like traditional vampires, Jonathan cannot enter a private residence without being invited in. Often he navigates around this by pressuring people using his mesmerism to encourage them to allow him entry, but a strong willed person can deny him and he won't be able to enter the location. This only applies to private residences though so he doesn't have an issue with public spaces.
Personality Jonathan Reid is, primarily, a doctor and a scientist. It's something that he identifies with strongly and even when faced with much of what he'd taken for fact being thrown into question, he persists in trying to focus on the scientific and logical answers to the situations he finds himself in. After his initial panic over what he had become and what he'd done, Jonathan turns his focus onto trying to find a cure for his vampirism and answers as to why he was turned and by whom. He remains focused on this goal throughout the game, and his experiences with Mary and with Lady Ashbury only reinforce his drive to try and cure what he and others are afflicted with.
As he comes from a pacifist play through, Jonathan is also very focused on helping other people as much as he can; he works hard to create medicines for the sick not only in the hospital but also across London itself, and helps people out with various tasks that they might be struggling to manage themselves. All the while he resists his urge to simply take what he needs to satisfy his hunger. Jonathan knows that human blood would sate him better and offer a range of other benefits, allowing him to become stronger and heal faster, but he resists the temptation and survives on rats and vermin instead.
That said, while Jonathan does resist feeding on people and claims he would never wish harm to anyone, it's worth noting that he does use his powers on others when it suits him. This is primarily in the form of his mesmerism; Jonathan uses it often to force others to allow him inside to speak with them or to get answers from them if they are not being truthful. Or even to make them take medication if they're resistant. This means he's something of a hypocrite as he takes offence when other vampires manipulate and use people, yet will do the same himself if he feels it would be beneficial in the long run.
It's worth noting as well that this hypocrisy comes out in other, non-vampiric aspects of Jonathan's character as well. When learning of a doctor at the Pembroke that is experimenting with new treatments, he immediately feels it is best that the medication the man is concocting be altered slightly to become more of a placebo. This is in spite of the fact that Jonathan himself trialed new treatments during the war, something he defends to others who criticise his willingness to experiment as ultimately helping many people.
Part of this is certainly also tied to Jonathan's pride and privilege from his upbringing. As someone born to a well-off family and a gifted surgeon, Jonathan has a habit of assuming he always knows what outcome is best in a situation, and this can result in him pushing for what his goal is despite the wishes of others. This is especially apparent in how he deals with Sean Hampton. Jonathan mostly knows of Skals from his own experience with them as mindless, hungry beasts that attack everything that could be considered food. Sean is not like this, but Jonathan assumes that he will not be able to control himself in the long term and uses very personal details about Sean's past to force him to submit and drink Jonathan's blood and stabilise him. While this does turn out to be for the best and Sean admits he feels more stable afterwards, the way Jonathan went about it was that of someone who had an unshakable belief that they were in the right and intended to do what was necessary to ensure the outcome they wanted.
History Due to the length of the game and that there is not much by way of official sources that cover Jonathan's personal history, a brief summary will be given here.
Jonathan and his sister, Mary, were born to wealth parents in London's West End and grew up in the comfort that wealth provided. Jonathan was able to attend schools and eventually become a doctor, and there's every indication that his life was quite good and only marred by the disappearance of his father as he began his foray into medical school. But while the family were distraught they pulled through in their own ways and Jonathan eventually became a renown surgeon and leader in his field, delivering a number of lectures at various locations.
When the Great War broke out, Jonathan served as a field medic and applied what he knew to the less than adequate circumstances he found himself in, additionally founding some new blood transfusion techniques through his field research. After the war, Jonathan returned to London again with the intent of seeing his mother and sister, and found that the city was in the grips of the Spanish Influenza and was starting to fall apart. On the way to his family home, Jonathan heard a strange voice reciting a poem from the darkness and before he had much of a chance to find out what was going on, he was attacked and murdered by an unseen vampire, his dying thoughts that he still had so much to accomplish.
Of course it'd be a short game if it ended there so Jonathan woke up reborn as a vampire in a mass grave and clawed his way out, attacking and killing the first human he came across who happened to be his sister, Mary, and putting a permanent damper on family reunions from now on. He was then chased across London by vampire hunters and quickly found out some of the limits of his new abilities. He met another doctor by the name of Edgar Swansea who knew about Jonathan's new unlife and helped rescue Sean Hampton from another vampire who planned to kill him, all of which resulted in the three of them making their way to the Pembroke Hospital and Jonathan being invited to stay by Edgar and have not only a safe space but one he could use to research his condition and a cure.
As time passed, Jonathan continued to work as a doctor on the night shift at the hospital, trying to help as much as he could with the epidemic that had seized the city and researched his own abilities. He met another vampire by the name of Lady Ashbury who became a mentor to him and learned of the presence of vampires in London and the Ascalon Club that oversaw them all, but he found little trace of who could have been his Maker and why they simply abandoned him after he was turned, only the occasional visions he would have of a horned vampire made of blood.
Eventually that family issue came back to haunt him as after witnessing a series of murders that seemed to almost follow him, Jonathan was lured by another vampire to the cemetery and was faced with the startling realisation that his actions when he'd woken had inadvertently turned his sister into a vampire too. Mary had been driven mad by all that had happened to her and sought to punish Jonathan for her murder, begging him for death when he defeated her. While he hated it, Jonathan complied and instead resolved to cure himself and others of their curse.
Around this time Jonathan also began to notice a link between the plague and the outbreaks of vampires across the city. After much time spent following leads and conducting research, he learned a startling truth: His colleague and friend, Edgar Swansea, had used Lady Ashbury's blood to try and cure the plague - because how could that ever go wrong - and instead started the plague of vampires currently sweeping through the city. Jonathan was understandably upset but by that point Edgar had already been kidnapped and tortured by the Guard of Priwen, a group of vampire hunters, and when Jonathan found him he was already dying. Unwilling to inflict his curse on another (and possibly aware Edgar wouldn't see it as a punishment anyway) and no longer certain how much he could trust Edgar, Jonathan kept his former friend company as he died.
Now understanding what was really going on in the city, Jonathan set out to confront the original carrier that Edgar had experimented on. It was through this that he also came to realise the true nature of his Maker and why he had been created. His Maker was Myrddin Wyllt, the offspring of the Red Queen, the source of all vampires and a force of chaos and destruction. The Red Queen slumbered but occasionally would wake and wreak havoc in the world around her and Myrddin had turned Jonathan to act as his champion and prevent this from happening and destroying all of London. So after getting his shit together and essentially going toe to toe with a vampire elder god and saving London, Jonathan had more or less had enough. It's been a rough unlife.
He did however have one final loose thread to wrap up: The Lady Ashbury had disappeared after learning of the effect her blood had on others and Jonathan set out to find her and find out more about her story.

Appearance)

Jonathan is from 1918 and wears a three piece suit paired with a heavy coat. His clothing is clearly well-made and his bearing is confident and gentlemanly, suggesting he comes from a wealthy background. His speech is also refined and anyone with a good ear would be able to place his accent as being from London during that time period.

Abilities)
Jonathan has extremely heightened senses after his rebirth and can focus his attention to block out everything around him and focus on the signs and sounds of people around him.

It's when they're wielded by someone who has a strong faith in what the symbol represents and its power to stop him that they present a problem. They do not outright hurt Jonathan, but they can temporarily stun and blind him, making it difficult for him to attack or flee from them.

This only applies to private residences though so he doesn't have an issue with public spaces.

History)

Only once his hunger was sated did Jonathan return to himself and realise he held the dying body of his sister, Mary, in his arms. As much as he tried to save her, it was in vain as Mary passed away and her dying thoughts lingered in Jonathan's mind, a result of his act of embracing her. However he wasn't given time to mourn or move her body as the attack had been witnessed by vampire hunters who chased Jonathan through the area before he was finally able to find a place to hide. There, overcome with grief, Jonathan attempted to take his own life, an attempt that proved unsuccessful due to his new vampiric nature. As he realised whatever he was now wasn't human, Jonathan decided he would try to find the one who turned him and get the answers he desperately wanted.
While investigating, Jonathan found signs of another vampire in the area and pursued it, eventually finding the creature and managing to save a man the vampire had taken captive. However in the course of the fight, it became clear to Jonathan that this was not the creature that had attacked him and there was a great deal more going on in London than he'd thought. He befriended Dr Edgar Swansea, a man who seemed to have quite an understanding of what Jonathan was now and who he'd been before, and so offered Jonathan a place to stay at Pembroke Hospital where he could both help people and have the resources to research his new condition.
